The trustees of The Friends of St. Mary’s Kingsclere Limited (FOSM) will retain personal information contained in your Membership Application Form and Gift Aid Declaration, where applicable, for the duration of the membership period. Information is held in strict confidence and FOSM will not disclose your details to a third party without prior consent.
FOSM will use this information:
- to provide newsletters and up to date event news;
- to fundraise and promote the interests of the charity;
- for the purpose of maintaining the accuracy of its membership database;
- to process Gift Aid Declarations.
Further, FOSM may from time to time arrange for photographs and videos to be taken of FOSM activities and published on its website or other promotional material to promote FOSM.
By maintaining your membership, you are consenting to the use of your data by FOSM as set out above.
The processing of personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). FOSM complies with its obligations under the GDPR by keeping personal data up to date; by storing and destroying it securely; by protecting personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure and by ensuring that appropriate technical measures are in place to protect personal data.
You have the right at any time to:
- request a copy of your personal data which FOSM holds;
- request that FOSM corrects any personal data if it is found to be inaccurate or out of date;
- withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data.
