FOSM is a registered company limited by guarantee.  It is run by a committee of trustees who meet on average six times a year and organise fund raising events.  The trustees are elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting.  FOSM is also a registered charity.

The charity’s objects are to preserve or assist in the preservation, maintenance, repair or improvement for the benefit of the general public of the fabric of St. Mary’s Church in the parish of Kingsclere in the county of Hampshire as an ancient building of beauty and historic interest.

FOSM was founded in 2002 by:  Brian and Carol Green (Co-Chair), Brian Elvin (Treasurer & Membership Secretary), Diana Birt (Secretary), Bob Newbery, Alan Denness, Harold Thrower, Mary Dunn.
